Works of expansion and requalification of the neighborhood of Boa Esperança in Boa Vista

The official act of assigning the works of requalification and expansion of the Boa Esperança neighborhood and the main sewage network of the city of Sal Rei, Boa Vista Island, is being held today and is presided over by Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva.

The works, according to information released by the Government Image Office, represent a total investment of some 330 million escudos, guaranteed through the Social Sustainability Fund for Tourism.

The project in the neighborhood of Boa Esperança, which involves the execution of a nine-hectare platform, includes infrastructure, sewage network, water distribution network, electricity grid, public lighting and telecommunications, as well as the execution of streets and exterior arrangements .

Construction of the main sewerage network in the city of Sal Rei will allow the connection, until now nonexistent, to the Casa de Todos, Largo de Santa Isabel and Bairro de Chã de Salinas developments.

The official ceremony of the event will be presided over by the Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, in the presence of the Minister of Infrastructures, Territorial Planning and Housing, Eunice Silva, and the mayor of Boa Vista, José Luís Santos, from the 16:30.

In the meantime, the construction of the second phase of the structuring route Aristides Pereira / Rotunda das Pedras International Airport and access to Povoação Velha was already recorded, in a ceremony held on Friday, also presided by the chief of the Executive in the town of Povoação Velha .

The construction of this 6.8-kilometer stretch of road, which will complete the structuring route of Boa Vista Island, has a total investment of approximately 640 million escudos, through the financing of the Society of Tourist Development of the islands of Boa Vista and Maio ( SDTIBM).
